Hard to watch, but consistently entertaining, and never dull. A warped post-Apocalyptic "Lord of the Flies" parable that shamefully depicts the extremes of human desperation. 10 strangers trapped inside an allegorical purgatory, suffering slow deaths from starvation, cabin fever, dementia, and acute radiation poisoning. Confronts the viewer by challenging man's worst fear, fear of death--or--fear of the unknown. In the process reconnecting/rediscovering both the beauty and the ugliness of the human soul. One of the most impressive post-Apocalypse sci-fi movies I've seen in this modern era. I can't believe I hadn't seen it sooner. I can't believe it exists!...
